Cause I'm Proud To Be An American!

I have never been so proud to be an American in my life! I have relized that America really is a wonder place to live. I would never choose another place over America. In my online History class I have to write a 4 paragraph essay about 9/11. My teacher as asked that we watch some videos about it 9/11 then talk about the videos and what we remember from that day. I have spent the morning watching very sad videos about that horrible day. The crazy thing is that on Monday, my friend and I were talking about how we are living history with living through 9/11, Obama being the first black presdient. Well I went home that night to check what I needed to do for my online classes and I have to talk about 9/11.

The 4th of July is still a ways away but you don't have to only appricaite being an American on the 4th Of July. Always be proud for the country you live in, and for the people that have fought for our freedom! Be proud to be an American! But has 4th of July is coming remember closer remember our freedom.

Earthquake!!!

On tuesday there was an earthquake in chile. It was so scary! I thought I was going to die for sure. I was just sitting in my house minding my own business when BAMB!!!!!! earthquake!! it was a really strong earthquake too, it was a 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I live to tell the story! xD

Everyones life is worth living.

This world has many beautiful wonders. Recently I have opened my eyes and I know see a whole new world. God put us on this earth to learn, grow, enjoy, love, and much more. Open your eyes and see all that God has blessed you with. Once you have opened your eyes help others open their eyes. Enjoy and be grateful for everyday you are given. Everyday is to be lived once, when you go to bed at night be grateful for the day, even if you had a bad day. You were able to breath, to live while others weren't so lucky. Look back at each day and learn from it. You never stop learning. Be grateful for the trials in your life and the things you learn from the trials. Remember you are never alone. You have a Father in Heaven and a brother Jesus Christ who is always there for you. They want to help you, they want you to succed in life, to be happy in life. They want to hear from you. They will be and are your best friends. They listen, help, guide, love, care, and much mroe. They will never laugh or make fun of you. But in order to get those blessings you have to obey them and do all you can to be like them. Live, Laugh, Love, Learn, Grow, Share.


I recently went to Easter Island and man was it amazing!!! It was so beautiful. While I was there I went to the belly button of the world. There is this magnetic force that is so amazing. While I was there I was able to let everything go out of my head. I didn't have to worry about anything. I have recently felt like I don't deserve this life, this life is way to good for me. I haven't done anything to deserve a life like this. There are babies that don't get a chance to live, Children, teenages, adults. people are always dying and I get a life like this. How is that fair?

I have also felt kind of alone. So while I was at this magnetic place I said a prayer, I told my Father in Heaven everything, Everything that I was feeling. I told Him I felt alone, and right then I felt so warm inside. I was not alone anymore. I never am alone.

I also opened my eyes at the magnetic place. I noticed how beautiful everything is in this world. God truely did make a beautiful world. I love looking at the clouds, the sunsets, the flowers, notice how green the grass is, find something good about the desert, I have noticed everything around me. I'm hopeing that throughout the rest of my life I will be able to open other peoples eyes and make them notice all the beautys of this earth. I feel like that is one of my jobs here on earth.

My new saying is... Live, Laugh, Love, Learn, Grow, Share. Do all of those and your life is perfect.

I just listened to this song. And I started thinking, I'm in a "whole new world." So I'm going to share some stuff with you.

First- Life is too short. Take time to enjoy everything you can. I know people say that all the time, but I have found that out. Enjoy everything that God has blessed you with in this life. Lately I have been amazed at how beatuiful the clouds are. I love to look at the clouds. They change so fast, so in way day you can see 100 different cloud shapes. They are so beautiful.

Second- I only have around 2 months left here. I'm pretty sad. Where did my first 8 months go? My exchange is to way to short. I felt like in the first 7-8 months I could have done so much then I did. I know most of you won't be exchange students. But whatever the situation is make the most out of life.

Third- So much as happened. I'm excited to get back and share my experiences with everyone!

Fourth- Tuesday I'm going to Easter Island for 5 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited!!!!

You guys are always in my heart. You are all amazing, so loving, caring and wanting the best for me. Thanks for all the support you have given me!

Circus on ice!!!!!

1st- Theresa, Me, Caro, and Bruno. New friends. 2nd- Shabe, Me, Naty(one of the Natys) 3rd- A leaf with water drops on it! I thought It was pretty! 4th and 5th- a heart made out of leaves! I think its pretty cool!!!

Finally

1st- Some kids in my class. 2nd- me about to go through the canopy. 3rd- pretty sunset. 4th- Volcano in Pucon. Yes it is smoking from the top and I was that close to it! I didn't zoom!!!! It was so scary!!!

Dang those Russans can put on a freaking amazing cirus on ice show!!!!!!!!!! I want to go again!! It was so much fun!!! I took lots of pictures and videos but sorry I'm not going to post videos. So you will have to wait till I get home. I hope I can go again!!!!!!

Best feeling for a 16 year old exchange student

One- when I went to school today my friends told me my spanish was great! and I was able to carry on a convo with them!!!

two- watching a movie in spanish without subtitles and understanding the movie and enjoying it!

mi vacacione en Pucon!!!

Para 10 dias mi fui al Pucon!!!! Pucon es muy muy bonito!!! me encanta, yo quiero vivir en Pucon!! Pucon tiene todos, rafting, canopy, lago, volcano, esquiar!!! TODOS!!!!! (how did I do Daniel or Shaun?????) what I said was for 10 days i went to Pucon! Pucon es very very beautiful! i love it, i want to live in pucon. Pucon has everything, rafting, canopy, a lake, volcano, and skiing!! i have pictures they will be up in a few more days. one night there was a concert on the beach! way fun!!!!! i will write more when i post pictures!!

my host brother Felipe!

My host brother Felipe is so cool! I love him! I didn`t see him all day yesterday so when I did see him, he gave me a big hug and said it`s been to long Annie!!!! It was cute! i fill loved! (From people in Chile)

Last night my host brother came up to me and gave me a hug and said "Annie, Hermana!!!!" it was soooo sweet.

Thanks for all the love you have sent me. It means a lot to me. but I also need to feel love from people down here. which I believe is happening. I just changed host families and I love them so much. My little 12 year old host borther is funny. he just comes up randomly and messes up my hair. or will come sit by me and put my head on my shoulder. he gives me a hug or more then A hug everyday. i have needed that. and when i dont know a word in spanish he doesnt get mad and he will explain it. this family is what i have been waiting for! today if anyone want to celebrate its been 7 months sense my last heart surgery. im having a few friends over and we are just going to watch movies, play games, maybe go swimming. you can do that stuff if you want. well maybe not go swimming. but you could watch a movie and play games. i think we are going to watch twilight. and games i think PS2 games with my host brother. sorry its short notice. but thats my update!

Emotions

I have been full of many emotions lately. I feel like people are always tearing me down and never building me up. All I want to hear is that someone loves me, that I will be able to make it through this hard time. Anything to help. Last night I was saying my prayers, and I said that, that all I wanted to hear was that I'm loved, That someone will stand by my side and help me through this hard time. Right after I said that I relized how stupid I had been. I have someone who always loves me, who will always be there for me, right next to me. The whole time, who is willing to help me, guide me whatever I need at that time. Right now thats really wants getting me through is that knowledge.
